Premier Optical places the highest value on your privacy and security.  We take the protection and use of your personal information seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines the information which PremierOptical.com will collect from you via our website and explains how we will use that information.   We collect personal identifiable information about you when you voluntarily provide such information to PremierOptical.com using the www.premieroptical.com website.  If you do not wish to have your personal identifiable information collected, please do not submit it. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions stated in this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the www.PremierOptical.com website.

We may disclose information when you tell us to do so, to identify or contact you, or to protect your rights or the rights of Premier Optical and PremierOptical.com as required by law.   We may be required to disclose your personal information to third parties if necessary to comply with applicable laws, subpoenas, or court orders.  We also will release personal information where disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights, enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements, or to protect ourselves or others.  For example, we may share information to reduce the risk of fraud or if someone uses or attempts to use our site for illegal reasons or to commit fraud.   We reserve the right to take any action we deem prudent or necessary to safeguard the www.premieroptical.com website and your information in our systems and databases from malicious or unwarranted attack by viruses, hackers, or other miscreants.

Premier Optical does not rent, sell or otherwise distribute customer information to any third party except to the extent that it is necessary to collect and fulfill orders placed with us.  It is possible that we might acquire or merge with or be acquired by another company or that we might dispose of some or all of our assets. If that happens, your personal information may be disclosed to another company, but that disclosure will be subject to the Privacy Policy currently in effect.

Premier Optical may provide links to other companies’ websites.  Unless we expressly say otherwise, a link to another website does not mean that we endorse the content or policy of that website.  When you provide information at one of those sites, you are subject to that site’s privacy policy.  Please read that website’s policy before submitting any information if you have concerns about how your information may be collected or used.  Anytime our site uses third party services on and/or through our website, we cannot know for certain that such third parties properly utilize or implement their own responsible and internal privacy and data collection policies.   We do not claim and are not responsible for their practices. 

We may use third party management service providers and third party information technology support providers to help maintain our operations and aid in the functionality of our website.   Because such third party providers may access our systems, these third party providers may have access to your information.  We do not transfer, relinquish ownership, rent or sell the information maintained about you within our systems and databases to such third parties and we require these parties to sign confidentiality agreements agreeing to keep all confidential and proprietary information found in our systems completely confidential.

If you select a product for purchase, you will be asked to register.  During this process you will need to provide us certain information including but not limited to your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone numbers, and credit, debit or gift card numbers.  We need this information for billing purposes, to fulfill your orders, to communicate with you about your order, and for internal marketing.  Additionally, several locations on our site allow you to enter your email address for the purposes of signing up for emailed coupons and newsletters and/or also for gathering contact information that is used to place your order and/or communicate with you.  This communication includes, but is not limited to, contacting you about the status of your account and order.  Please understand that by entering your email address, Premier Optical may also send you information about specials and new product information by mail and/or email unless you request that we not do so.  You are free to request that we not contact you at any time by asking us to remove you from our contact list. However, we will still have to communicate with you about orders that you choose to place, so you cannot opt out of receiving emails related to your orders.  We may also use the information you enter on our site to help make your shopping experience better.  For example, we may use your information, such as your shipping address, so you don’t have to re-enter it more than once in an effort to make your shopping experience faster and easier. 

We use other companies to perform specific functions on our behalf.  One such example is the use of shipping companies like USPS, UPS, and Federal Express. When we disclose information to such shipping services we only provide enough information such as your name, shipping address, email and phone number to allow them to adequately perform their services.  We also may use third party companies such as additional outside optical labs to assist us in partial production of your ordered lens products.  In such cases, we will only provide the minimum amount of information required to allow them to aid us in fulfilling your order, such as your name and eyeglass prescription.  We also may use third party frame manufacturers and we may provide them very limited information about you, such as your name, in an effort to help track any frames we order on your behalf.  We may also contact your eye care provider to verify your prescription and/or to discuss treatment options for you.  In such case, we will only provide personal data that is pertinent to verifying you as the patient and ensuring your ongoing treatment, such as your name, date of birth, prescription, and date of eye care service(s).  Shipping companies, outside lab companies, frame companies, and eye care providers will never receive your financial information from us.

Our site employs cookies and web beacons to speed your navigation of our website and to recognize you and your access privileges.  Cookies are information stored on your computer’s hard drive as text files by your internet browser.  Most internet browsers are automatically set up to accept cookies but you can set your browser to refuse cookies from all websites.   But doing this, you may not be able to access all areas of our site.  Our site uses cookies to enable you to see our products, and to allow you to order and pay for the products.  Our website’s cookies do not and cannot infiltrate your hardware to gather a user’s personal information.   Our cookies are not spyware.  A web beacon assists us in the delivering of cookies to allow us to know if certain pages within our site are being viewed.  By using web beacons we are able to improve your online shopping experience.  If we ever utilize third-party advertising companies to send you ads on our behalf, these companies may also use cookies and/or web beacons as well.  Any information these third parties collect from you is not linked to any of the personal information you provide us.

Our site server may automatically recognize your Internet URL and we may log your Internet protocol (“IP”) address, your Internet service provider, your date/time stamp and we may use this information to aid us in order verification and system troubleshooting and administrative purposes.

We provide your credit card, debit card, and/or gift card to financial-services corporations such as credit-card processors and issuers. When we submit your credit card number for authorization, we use state-of-the-art data encryption to protect your information.  Our site uses safeguards to guard the confidentiality of your personal information, including Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) for all financial transactions through our Site. We also use SSL encryption to protect your personal information online.  We also take several steps to protect your personal information in our facilities.  Access to your personal information is restricted.  Only employees who need access to your personal information to perform a specific job are granted access to your personal information.  If you fax something to us, we will store the fax in a secure locked location, scan and save your fax in our secured digital vault, and/or we will shred the fax.  We cannot guarantee complete 100% security because it simply does not exist anywhere online or offline.

SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping Rules and Restrictions:  We ship items within the 48 contiguous US states via USPS first class for free.  You can upgrade to expedite your shipping by selecting to ship your order with USPS priority mail or UPS second day but you will be charged shipping costs.  You will be provided with the total shipping cost for your order during checkout.  All orders are shipped on business days only.  Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Your actual shipping and handling cost will automatically compute on the shipping information portion of your checkout page.  At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s).    The cost to upgrade to USPS priority mail typically does not exceed $6.00-$7.00.  UPS second day shipping costs inside the US typically will not exceed $25.00.   For shipping outside the United States, buyers should realize that all applicable customs, and import duties and taxes, are the sole responsibility of the customer. Premier Optical does not calculate the cost of import taxes or duties placed on any package that leaves our warehouse. Such taxes and duties are placed on items by foreign governments and the buyer must contact their customs office to find out if such fees will apply and what they will be.
 
Standard USPS First Class Ground Shipping (typically 3-7 business days): 
Our items can be shipped in the United States via standard USPS first class ground service.  If shipping is within the 48 contiguous states then shipping is free.  Delivery time can range from 3 to 7 business days for the 48 contiguous states and 7-14 days for Alaska and Hawaii.  Delivery time starts after your purchase leaves our warehouse. While we try to expedite all packages, they are not guaranteed to leave our warehouse immediately. We work Monday through Friday to get your orders to you quickly and efficiently.  Our staff works tirelessly with our lab and our warehouses to provide the service you should expect. We cannot stock every single frame and many products will need to be ordered from the manufacturer.  Additionally, some special lens products may be produced off site and then later assembled at our on-site facilities.  Most products ship within 5-6 days of your order, but some products may take up to 7-10 business days to complete the manufacturing process.  If for any reason your product will not be leaving our warehouse within 10 business days of your initial order, we will quickly notify you. 

USPS Priority Mail Shipping (typically 3-4 business days): 
Our items can be shipped in the United States via USPS priority mail. Typically, this costs about $6.00 if we are shipping within the 48 contiguous US statesYou can expect your order to arrive within 3-4 full business days from the time your purchase leaves our warehouse.  While we try to expedite all packages, they are not guaranteed to leave our warehouse immediately. We work Monday through Friday to get your orders to you quickly and efficiently.  Our staff works tirelessly with our warehouses to provide the service you should expect.  We cannot stock every single frame and many products will need to be ordered from the manufacturer.  Additionally, some special lens products may be produced off site and then later assembled at our on-site facilities.  Most products ship within 5-6 days of your order, but some products may take up to 7-10 business days to complete the manufacturing process.  If for any reason your product will not be leaving our warehouse within 10 business days of your initial order, we will quickly notify you.  The extra shipping service charge for priority mail does not imply the product will arrive to you in 3-4 daysThe extra shipping service charge is to expedite the delivery service only.
